Dr. Isabelle-Anne Bisson is a dedicated environmental specialist with a profound commitment to sustainability and nature conservation. Over the past three decades, she has collaborated with communities and organizations in Canada and internationally, delivering impactful solutions for a sustainable future. Her extensive experience includes leading scientific projects for the U.S. Department of Defense and managing initiatives under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Isabelle-Anne holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in science from McGill University and a Ph.D. from York University. She further honed her expertise with postdoctoral research at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center and Princeton University. As the co-founder of TerraHumana Solutions (www.terrahumanasolutions.com) in 2014, Isabelle-Anne has championed the company\u2019s mission to provide expert services in science, conservation and sustainability. She has worked closely with Indigenous communities in northern Nunavik, addressing the environmental challenges they face due to ongoing development. She has also collaborated with the Kanien’keh\u00e1:ka (Mohawk) community of Kahnaw\u00e0:ke and, since 2017, has been working with the Kanien’keh\u00e1:ka community of Kanesatake on various environmental and community projects. Dr. Bisson\u2019s volunteer contributions include serving on the boards of the Sierra Club Qu\u00e9bec and Nature Conservancy Canada, as well as leading community organizations like the Table de Quartier du Sud-Ouest-de-l’\u00cele. Her leadership and expertise continue to drive meaningful change.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n

Ms. Marian MacNair joined TerraHumana Solutions as a consultant and strategic partner, bringing a strong background in botany and environmental conservation. Since 2021, she has successfully completed three mandates with TerraHumana Solutions, conducting floristic inventories for natural areas targeted for development.\u00a0 Transitioning from a career in journalism to one in conservation and environmental awareness, Ms. MacNair earned a Master\u2019s degree in Plant Science from McGill University. Her graduate research utilized community science data to analyze monarch butterfly reproductive preferences in Eastern Ontario, conducted in partnership with the Montreal Insectarium. As part of this work, she surveyed 85 sites in 2019 using the international monarch monitoring protocol. Ms. MacNair further honed her expertise through a summer field course in native flora at McGill\u2019s Mount Saint-Hilaire and specialized in native botany during her undergraduate degree in Environmental Biology. She also volunteered at McGill\u2019s herbarium and created the Morgan Arboretum Phenological Calendar, documenting seasonal natural events in the Montreal area.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n

Dr. Patrick Galois is a highly experienced biologist with 34 years of expertise in ecological research, project management, and conservation. As a member of the Association des Biologistes du Qu\u00e9bec (#3207), He has led numerous inventories, impact studies, conservation initiatives, educational programs, and research projects, focusing primarily on fauna, flora, and their habitats (https:\/\/www.amphibia-nature.org\/fr\/realisations\/ – French only). His expertise spans project planning and management, data analysis, scientific writing, public outreach and field and laboratory techniques. With extensive knowledge of ichthyofauna and herpetofauna, as well as a solid foundation in botany, his work often involves collaborating with parks, universities, conservation organizations, public agencies, and private firms, both in Quebec and internationally. Dr. Galois has been instrumental in habitat assessments, the development of mitigation and conservation measures and the design and monitoring of wildlife management plans.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n
